Question type: General

We got sucked in on the nissan rogue , after
financing they tell you about the problem with the
transmission,  you must change the fluid every 50k
miles and don't tow anything . For 19k that nuts.

I don't want you to hate your new car. It is pretty normal for all cars to have their transmission fluid changed at 30K mile intervals if you want them to last. CVT is no different in that regard. They are a light duty tranny and towing anything puts extra strain on them all, no exceptions. Your new car has a power train warranty to protect you for a couple years. If you still don't trust the CVT, trade it for a more conventional transmission. I think they were trying to give you some friendly advice but may have over stated their concern.
