Radio goes on automatically

After I turn off the audio, either while the engine is on or after it's been turned
off, and leave the car, when I return, the radio goes on without my doing
anything. Is that supposed to happen?

I just got a used 2018 Nissan Rogue and was having the same issue. The radio would start playing as soon as I started the SUV, even if the radio had been off when I shut the truck off. I searched several forums and one said to update the software. Today I connected to my wifi and checked for an update. It appeared that the Nissan had its original software as it said the last update was dated Sept 2017. It took between 5 and 10 minutes to download and update. And it fixed the issue. The radio no longer starts play automatically when the truck is started.

I have a 2017 rogue and blue tooth was fine fir a while. Then started to disconnect and reconnect randomly. Then it was reliable for a while now it is having the same issue !

It took 2 years of trial and error to find that my 2019 Rogue will turn on the radio if i" Unlock with the FOB. open the passenger door for a few minutes close and relock with the FOB. Walk away for 5 min and return to find the Radio is on.
