What does srs mean

Srs is in cursive writing and in small case letters on dash and maybe steering wheel,what does this stand for?

SRS = supplemental restraint system, April, a.k.a. an airbag. If you see SRS on your steering wheel, you've got a driver's-side airbag, and if you see one on the dash in front of your passenger seat, you've got one on the passenger side, too. Hope that helps!
