How do I remove the water pump and install a new one?

the water pump is behind the timing belt. so if you know how to change the timing belt, you are almost there, but there is still a lot of labor and parts to remove. if you dont know how to change a timing belt, the water pump will be a real struggle. and the pump on the 2.3 is a lot more difficult than on the 2.5
