Did you ever get and answer for this issue. I am also having the same issue after replacing the fuel filter in my 2006 sonata. Thanks

Had this same issue. After some time, I was able to jump the fuel pump relay with a paperclip ( between #30 & #87 ). With this done, it gave power to the pump and I was able to start the vehicle. I then let it run for some time as it began to recalibrate itself ( was a little rough at first ). I then pulled the jumper out and stuck the relay back in and it started right up. After taking it for a short ride, I did get a code for it running lean. Not sure if this will go away, as the CPU is learning at this point.

Ok, I finally got this figured out. Not sure if it's the same problem of others or not, but here you go. When changing the filter, pay close attention to the fuel filter and how the fuel pump is mounted in it. In removing the pump, pay close attention that the rubber seal comes off with it, if not, look up into the old filter and make sure you remove the seal and reattach it to the new one. If this is not done, you will not get the proper seal, resulting in low pressure, causing the entire system to fail. This will cause the system to not send power to the pump. I hope this helps anyone with the same problem, as this was a real headache to figure out.
