What type of oil is needed for a mazda 929?

My car is ticking and someone told me that i had  the wrong type of oil in my car. What type of oil do i need to use?

Just came across this page, not sure if it helps...I think they break it down by engine. If that doesn't help you should call a Mazda dealer and see what they say. Should be a fairly painless call. http://www.drive.com.au/recommended-oil/Mazda/929/pg1/@spg702/results.html

Depends on the miles and if you want to add synthetic or regular. My Mazda 929 has aroun 180k miles, and i like synthetic, so i use mobil's 15w-50.
