2018 grand caravan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After I had the AC compressor changed at 115k mi, the motor/transmission
would start to buck/skip from a stop to moving. It would also do it at cruising
speeds if i was maintaining speed. The slower i accelerated, the more
prominent it  would  act up. The mechanic changed the plugs and wires to help
the issue but nothing changed. any suggestions

I'd say who ever did the compressor work screwed something up either intentionally to bring work back or accidentally , Get a second opinion

Check for a bad, loose, or disconnected wiring connection near the compressor or near anything that had to be removed to get to the compressor. It's also possible that a wire or wires got pinched or damaged during the repair. Jim
