I just purchased a new accelerator pedal position senor. Can anyone please let
me know what tools are needed to change it.

It should not require any specialized tools. The last one I changed was on a Taurus and it was held in position with two 5/16 head fasteners. I think I used a 1/4" drive socket with a short extension. It was the easiest part I've changed in a long time. Yours might be metric or torx, but you'll get it I'm sure. Just lay out rags so you can catch parts if you drop any. Don't over tighten plastic parts. Unplug it before you loosen anything.....that helps hold it for you.
