Valve cover stuck on '12 chevy cruze ltz

Asked by Steve Dec 12, 2019 at 03:44 PM about the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze LTZ Turbo Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The valve cover is stuck, I cant get it go budge. Yes a
loosened all the bolts, moved the wires and hoses. Is there
a trick to it or do I pry  against it? If so, where do I pry
against it so it doesn't mess it up?

You can use the wood handle of a hammer to tap on the side of the valve cover. If you have a Harbor Freight near you buy one of those orange dead blow hammers for a couple of bucks.

I'm doing this in my friends garage and she doesn't have a hammer at all

Put the bolts back in and go buy the right tools Steve!
