power lift gate

My power lift gate opened all the way and bumped the open garage door and
automatically reversed, I was leaning in the car to grab something and the door
was coming down on me. I pushed against the door and now it will not work
automatically at all, it will unlatch but not open or close automatically. How can I
get it to work again or is this a service issue?

I think there is a way to get the automatic feature to work again, consult the owners manual for exactly what to do.
