Battery light on, lost power steering

My Jeep lost power steering while driving on
a busy highway and engine light as well as
battery’s light went on with my newborn baby
inside. I’m pissed and wondering who else
this happened to. What can we do to prevent
an accident because I don’t feel safe.

This happened to my dad. We have had endless problems with this car. It has to do with the recalls, or that’s what they’ve told us. The electronic throttle supposedly. We’ve done so many things to fix this car, transmission work ups, evac problems, electronic problems, a cyclnder replaced. It never ends!

My 2014 jeep cherokee latitude v6 3.2l 4x4 has a problem with the battery light staying in the dash my mechanic replaced battery and alternator both brand new and the battery still staying on in the dashboard help please
