Power Steering possibly going? Help!

Asked by PJDzz Feb 06, 2019 at 05:40 PM about the 2006 Hyundai Sonata V6 GLS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had an incident where I had to turn hard and after that my
power steering was extremely rough. Then it smoothed out
and since that it's on and off. Itll be fine then say I'm getting
ready to park somewhere and it gets extremely rough to
park because it barely will turn. I topped off the power
steering fluid to make sure it wasnt that and it hasn't
helped. I'm not sure what the issue is, it it's the pump, the
serpentine belt or what. If anyone has any idea what's
going on let me know what you think.

Try adding some Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak to power steering pump it not only stops leaks but corrects hard steering by lubricanting the seals and valves in rack and pinion.
