Passenger Airbag Light

My 2010 VW Beetle (bought Used recently) has a problem with Passenger
Airbag light, stays illuminated as “OFF”,  any ideas how to fix the issue-what’s
happening with that please?

I have this in my Dodge, changes to "on" when someone is sitting in passenger seat
