When we put the car in drive the doors lock, but the drivers side panel should unlock them all but it does not. How do we fix that?

Start with fuses. It's possible it's a different fuse that the automatic locking when put in Drive. Then it may just be a setting, option to lock/unlock all... or not... on a button or toggle....if the paint on the switch is not worn off in 15 years it will be marked ...then the switch it self may not be making proper contact, Switches are inexpensive.

You may have a bad relay. The drivers door has a seperate relay for unlocking. Then there is a door lock relay and a door unlock relay. sounds like the unlock relay could be bad if none of the other doors unlock.
