what does 3 chimes while driving mean on the Nissan Rogue Sport 2018?

Asked by GuruT22TK Jul 17, 2018 at 07:36 AM about the 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport 2018.5 SV AWD

Question type: General

I can't find an answer in the manual or online anywhere. I don't see any kind of
warning in the display panel or any light flashing or anything.

Three chimes is an auditory alert to the driver to check his gauges or his information display for messages. A lot of cars do the same thing. It might be the seat belt, door is ajar, low fuel warning, oil pressure, etcetera. Look for something that's not right.

My 2018 Pathfinder is doing the same thing. There are no warnings on the vehicle display screen and everything seems to be in fine operating condition. I've read through the entire, very large, owners manual and can't find an answer.

What does it mean when I’m driving my Nissan rogue and it feels like the break was put on a warning flashing on the dash and then goes away and then starts to drive normal

Happened just a few minsa ago to us as we were driving, it felt like the car hesitated and braked and beeped, then stopped. This has happened before at least twice now, just spaced out. It's not doing it now. This should be considered a recall.
