i have a 1995 xr7 4.6 . when i turn on the AC it only blow out of the defrost vents, Ac blows cold but only out of defrost vent no matter what setting the control is on

I think there is a vacum operated motor that swithes the direction of the flow of air The motor maybe toast or the vacum line may have come off or that line may be broke aswell

I have a 2002 Cougar 5-speed, V6 that is having a major oil problem. It's leaking on the motor & my tail pipe is completely black. Small small oil spots on the ground as soon as I put it in park but no major puddles. The smell is awful & it's smoking when I park it after driving it. I've heard tons of different possibilities. From the breaks flopping back and forth to the steering rack being shot. Its under the hood, mainly on the drivers side.
