Turn my Terrain off and head lights went out and short time later interior lights
followed. I noticed that the lights located on the center console stayed on. Is
this normal?

I agree. Going for oil change and will ask the Dealer. I checked the lights later and they were extinguished. Wonder if it may have something to do with the remote start? I will let you know what the Dealer is saying.
