brake pedal not fully returning all the time

when I push brakes they don't fully come up so I pull brake pedal up to disengage brakes or pump brake then they work for a while

your slave cylander sounds knackered check for leaks and any air in the system but odds are you have a knackered slave cylander

take it in to have brake service done. Sounds like the system is clobbered up with muck, needs to be serviced, have the system bled and inspected for integrity of fluid seals~

I just love English nomenclature...listen to those guys a 20 year old car... and to state the obvious brakes are life and death important, frugal is good but if you don't know a professional should take a look

They did not replace the rubber flex hoses, if they did their decomposition and subsequent flow restriction would not occur~
