California emission standards.

Question type: General

How do I know that a vehicle in another state meets the California emission
standards?

Look at the emissions sticker under the hood to see if it is 50 states certified. To register it in CA it must also pass a smog check.

The sticker will say something to the effect of Conforms to California Emissions Standards or Is C.A.R.B Compliant. If you see either phrase, you have California Emissions. Hope that helps! Jim
