Service engine soon light

Asked by GuruSFM1X Jun 18, 2019 at 11:29 PM about the 2005 MINI Cooper Convertible

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 mini convertible, 2 months ago the
light came on for Service Engine soon. I have
inspection due soon and need it fixed. I spent all
day at the mechanic yesterday. The code was
P0010. The mechanic did it was the temperature
sensor in the front underneath. He Said my car
was missing one. He put a new one with the loose
wire in the front underneath. The light went off.
Driving home an hour later the light came back.
Please help. What could it be now?.
