2005 mini convertible

I have a 2005 mini Cooper convertible my daughter
decided to borrow the  car and spilled a soda her
friends in the backseat passenger side then They
got bright idea to get the hose pipe to wash the
floor out ever since then my indicator lights will not
come on in the car my radio goes on and off my top
will not retract I’ve had to pull the battery so the
lights wouldn’t kill battery .what do I do besides
busT her tail ?????help, many thanks

I think the electrical connections are still wet. Unplug and dry them out wherever the water was sprayed.

Check your front foot well computer. The foam in the carpeting holds a lot of water. It is behind the drivers left side kick panel on my car.
