Car storage

Asked by jimmiedespain Feb 03, 2016 at 02:36 PM about the 2005 MINI Cooper S Hatchback

Question type: General

My car will be sitting for approx 7-9 months in an
enclosed garage. I wanted to know if there is
anything else I should be doing to help ensure it will
be working fine when I return.

1 Answer

Use a fuel stabilizer, fill the gas tank to minimize condensation and use a battery tender or disconnect the battery. Dry storage in a garage is best.
