I have a 2004 Mini Cooper manual transmission
front wheel Drive which has a bad transmission
drive can I take my RAV4 1998 automatic
transmission all wheel drive that has a driver side
rear axle broken off the frame can I take the engine
and transmission out of my RAV and put in the
body of my Mini Cooper

In theory you could. If you are trying to save money you will not save any. The cost to do such a conversion would exceed the value of the car by 10x or more.

My 2004 Mini non-S with 150,000 miles starting doing something funny last week. When I try to activate a left or right turn signal, there is no flashing of the green indicator light or clicking in the car, but the lights themselves are working outside the car. And then, the other day the dash indicator lights in the car went out and then came back in a few minutes. The problem is intermittent, but is getting worse. If I turn the car off for a few minutes it all seems to come back. I'm hoping someone can diagnose it. 1 Answer

I turned my mini off as I usually do.. push the button popped out the key bob.. left the garage door open and took my garbage can to the street... came in pressed the garage door closer.. went in the house.. came back out 3 min later and the car was running.tried to turn it off by pressing the start button a couple time .. didn't shut off.. went to get the key bob and when I came out it turned itself off... any ideas folks? 3 Answers
