2005 Mitsubishi Galant V6 (believe it's a 3.8) won't start.

Asked by twaynecut Sep 04, 2015 at 12:14 PM about the 2005 Mitsubishi Galant LS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I turn the key on everything comes on
like normal including the daytime running
lights. When I try to start it the dash lights
stay on bright but the clock and running
lights go out. There is no clicking of the
selenoid. Starter was tested and passed,
battery was load tested and passed. I have
replaced the ignition switch, crankshaft
position sensor, neutral safety switch, and
relay in the engine compartment fuse box.
Still same problem.  Before this happened
the starter was cranking real slow. Bad
connection somewhere or a short
maybe????
