It is likely throwing out the ABS system out of synch and if turning at a different speed than the others it may thinking it has a wheel locking up. I have a 01 pontiac sunfire if I put the relay back in for the ABS it actually makes the rear brakes go on and off as if they are locked into a skid. I remove the relay and instantly it's normal driving again.Try pulling the relay would be a good way to find out before spending the wrong money.

If I read it right it sounds like after changing the tire back again everything was normal. It sounds like the system reset itself back to normal. A relay is normally in the fuse panel, on the underside of the fuse panel cover should a diagram of the panel and location of everything. Just familiarize yourself with it and the fuse section in the manual so if it happens again try pulling it out. Could be a relay or a fuse, my pontiac sunfire i actually think it may be one of the extra large fuses.
