I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander. I have already changed the ratetor, thermostat, & the heat sensor. I am still having to put water in the ratiator and it still smells like its overheating. What else can I do to fix this problem ?

If it smokes, your motor is cooked. Is it pouring out the bottom of the engine? You probably have a tremendous clog in the block somewhere
How do I check that ? Sorry I'm not a mechanic. I'm a single mom trying to fix my car.
You need to have a mechanic flush the block with pressure to see if it is clogged, but first see if water pump is working
