95 Mitsubishi Eclipse ALL DRIVETRAIN SWAP from a 2002.

Asked by Raymond Jan 05, 2016 at 05:58 PM about the 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS

Question type: General

I found a 2002 complete fwd setup
(engine, transmission, axles, joints,
spindles, springs, brakes, etc.,) all included
for a price I just can't pass up. My question
is, will it work? I realize it's a gen 3
drivetrain going into a gen 2. But is it
possible and how much trouble is it. I'm
assuming whoever answers this question
has done a similar project or is extremely
familiar with all eclipse
models/generations, and will give me
sound advice. Thank you sincerely.

Can you elaborate just a little? "No" is a great answer, I was hoping for a little more info so I can understand. It doesn't need to be a book. I would appreciate just knowing. That way I can logically put the idea out of my head and let it go. Thank you very much for your time.

I Want to do same thing in my 97 eclipse gs, can't get a straight answer out of anyone, I have a 2.4, I want to put in
