do you have a check engine light ? also you need to elaborate a little, like does it stay if you apply accelerator peddle, have you done anything to it recently before this started to occur ?? we need more info that wont stay running

i dont know if mitsubishi made a theft system in their cars but if they did and the theft shut down your car would automatically start and then die. just a thought!!

Does it drive out fine but die at a stop light or slow turn or when just idling? If so its probably your Idle air control valve. Cel on? Any codes? Although the IAC will not always throw a code on these.

I have the same car its a sensor on the fuel injector pull the neg on the battery for about 5 mins put it back it will clear up for a bit than get it to a auto parts store they will know what you need.
