i have a 2000 eclipse gs 4 cyl non turbo automatic

i bought it this way.  my plan is to fix it.  the car turns over but will not run.  the guy i
bought it from said he thinks its a short in the engine harness.  the car is spotless.  i just
cant see it being a short.  the car will crank but wont fire.  he replaced the coils already
and battery.  looking for any helpful info from someone who has been thru this or has fixed
this problem bfore.  any and all thoughts welcome.. thank u for your time

Check your fuel pressure. Always need fuel, spark, and air to run. Check plugs, wires, ignition control module, distributor cap, rotor button, could be multiple things. Main thing is to check for spark at the plugs

Buy the code reader online for like 20 bux. Hook it up. Whatever code it tells you, google it. That easy. That damned easy.
