Replaced a dead battery after A/C shut off and the wipers began to run slowly. Car stalled out and the problems came back but with the addition of being unable to turn the wheel much.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Battery started dieing while driving causing the wipers to run slow and the A/C to shut off completely. Radio still worked. Next day took it to get the battery replaced, on the way car was stuttering and none of the lights worked. The car finally "died" when I arrived. Replaced the battery and all was fine that day and some the next, though problems came back the next day. Car stalled out twice and after the second time the problems came back but with the added bonus of the wheel being very hard to turn. I've been having power steering issues for a few months but it was "fine" (as in as it had been behaving the last two months) before the second stall out. The wheel now feels like it does when trying to turn a vehicle with a dead battery, there is some give but not a lot.
