My 2000 Montero Sport 4-wheel drive light has started blinking and then the anti lock light comes on.Have not had in 4-wheel drive in a while.

get a NEW battery...insure the chassis ground has a 300 amp connection to it ....use a wirebrush to establish a full connection....your ECU suffers from "brown-out"~

read the trouble codes with your very own diagnostic scanner (15 bucks)~ ....Then 'clear the codes' with this device~ if you've still got flashing lights we will examine the moving parts there~
