how much is my car worth

Asked by Melissa Jun 07, 2016 at 12:27 AM about the 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL FWD

Question type: General

I recently bought a 1999 mitsubishi 3000gt. One
owner with 93000 miles. Great bright red paint job
runs great everything works on it. The only thing I
had to replace was the tires because they were dry
rotted  and I'm fixing to have the  timing belt
replaced because everyone  I talk to says at 80 or
90,000 miles it should be replaced.
My only issue is that it is a 5 speed. I'm trying very
hard to learn but if I decide it's best for me to have
an automatic and sale this beautiful eye catcher
what should I ask for it? I'm scared I'm going to be
in the hole.

it is worth what you paid for it- if you get lucky, you might get more- those are popular cars-

I've been driving it more and I'm beginning to love it but I'm still nervous when I'm in traffic.

Keep driving it. Cause when you finally get it you will probably never really like driving an automatic again. These cars are real fun to drive. Which model do you have? Price will depend on that. One owner cars in great shape are hard to find and with 99 being the last year they made them the price is really up to you. Oh and please do change your timing belt and water pump ASAP. Not doing so will lead to major and costly engine repairs.

I've had the timing belt changed a week ago but have not changed the water pump yet. The water pump had not occurred to me to change but I will do so. Thanks for the great advice. Please keep it coming.
