I was given a 97 Expedition by my neighbor. A whole bunch of symptoms. Runs rough, temp gauge pegged on hot, no heat & oil pressure ready high. Help!

Asked by Trishanna Feb 15, 2015 at 11:28 PM about the 1997 Ford Expedition 4 Dr XLT SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've changed the oil. Changed coil on
#4,5 & 8 per OBD2 reading. Getting
ready to flush cooling system.
Doesn't appear to be leaking coolant
inside or outside but does fog up
easily. Has a small oil leak and
transmission leak. Any suggestions.

TO BE HONEST WITH YOU DO THE SAME THING YOUR NEIGHBOR DID GET RID OF IT AND SAVE YOUR SLEF THE HEADACHE

Thanks, but I need the extra capacity. So, trying to find people familiar with this vehicle that have gone through this and fixed them.
