Questioning Fair and honest as advertised
Asked by GuruQRTNM Nov 23, 2019 at 06:34 AM about the 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew 4WD
Question type: Car Selling & Trading In
I questioned the amount they offered me for my
new truck with 2000 miles on it, garage keep that
never seen rain then they lowered there original low
ball offer. I understand you must make money but
fair market value should always be used. Very
disappointed this is false advertising

If you look at Kelly blue book value and with perfect conditions it should be at the top not below there minimum range.
Who is they? A local Ford Dealer? Trade in's are always tricky. The dealer wants to give you wholesale price, not KBB trade in price. It is up to you to negotiate upward and if they won't you walk.
If you want an instant cash deal it is going to be for a wholesale or lower price. No dealer or wholesaler is going to give you full retail price. Fair for them means they can resell it at a profit.
They can pay trade in value and Car Gurus isn’t even close to that.
