you might have a bad wheel bearing but it's hard to say for sure.
could it be something with the brakes? Because I found that when I am coasting at low speed its making the noise but if I apply the brakes it stops...let go of brakes its there again

yes it could be, take your tire off check to see how much pad you have left on your brakes. sometimes they put a thin piece of metal on the brake pads that rubs the rotor to warn you to change them. also check the rotor for groves. the wheel bearing could also do the same thing. when you apply the brakes it could add pressure or relieve pressure at the bearing which will quiet it down. to check the bearing jack the truck up before you take the tire off wiggle the tire side to side and wiggle the top and bottom of the tire. if there is any slack the bearing is bad.
