Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am trying to find a Haynes or Chiltons repair manual for my 1997 Mitsubishi Montero SL and I cant seem to find one.  Can anyone direct me to a site where I will get the correct manual?

Thanks but is there somewhere to find a hard copy version to order?

Yeah, it appears that no such manual was ever published. They both had manuals extending up to 93 and 96, then nothing until 2000+. Not sure why the gap, but I have a '99 similarly unsupported by repair manuals. And yeah, I've check eBay and Amazon - nada.

" it appears that no such manual was ever published" Actually that is incorrect; I have a 97 Montero SR, (V6 3.5l SOHC) and after MONTHS of diligent searching, finally stumbled onto a hard copy of the factory service manual(s), a 2 vol set specific to only the 1997 montero v6 3.5L SR/LS. Paid a pretty penny for them, but was honestly so tired of looking I didn't care. So in short, Mitsubishi DID indeed write and release a FSM for the 97' full-size Monty. However, based on their apparent rarity, I am guessing Mitsu didn't actually distribute many printed hard copies.
