because i do know my shit and the 3000gt its a whale compared to all the other imports people run why cant you just admit it. They aren't impressive to drive at all and the only good mitsubishi is the evolution.

My old Dodge Stealth RT ATx hit around 140mph and that was all she had to give. Took a long time too.

Stock I've gotten my VR4 up to 156mph. Modified exhaust and intake I've gotten it up to 179mph

lmao I got pulled over by a state trooper doing about 100 racing through traffic. I can say that is a ticket I really don't need to pay again :)

I got lucky, he looked me in the eye and pointed at me, i passed him at 100 and took off, i got away (luckily, though i'll never do that again)

165

yeah my vr4 gets from 70 to 140 pretty quickly, but then 140 to 180 is pretty slow

5 speed vr4s redline at 212 6 speeds at over 230 http://stealth316.com/2-gears.htm

yeah dude I saw that diagram once too, but redline doesn't mean max speed. there are physics to consider like wind resistance and road resistance

ok lets end this now the stock vr-4 tops out at 163mph. the 99 vr-4 weighs 3737lbs only 400 lbs more then the supra. has the best take off but the supras top end is far better. with modification the vr-4 is a dangerously fast car and with the right setup the best of the best would struggle to compete in its class. the evo x weighs 3200-3400lbs yet its still an incredibly powerful car so the whole whale thing needs to stop. see ppl clown the 3kgt because they are jealous of its title. the "original supercar" it was far more advanced than it should have been when first designed and it was brilliant minds (chrysler and mitsubishi) that made one of the best all around dd's and modifiable cars yet for a realistically ownable car because i dont got $300000 for a lambo or some bullshyt car like that

-169mph for 2nd gen VR4 with and without boost controller. I think there is a soft -speed limiter on tthese cars. 140mph for 1st gen base stealth, 5 speed manual.

The 3000gt sl will do 135 in 4th gear and just put a new transmission with 5th gear in but I think it'll do 150 maybe 135 will run 5000 rpms in 4th

I had my stock 91 SL up to 121 and it was pretty easy so it probably can do over 130
