so many that nobody counts them. why do you want to know how many bolts their are?

if your talking about the bell housing to the engine block there is 5 bolts that hold up the transmission to the block. note: 1 bolt screws from the engine block to the bell housing(transmission) its to balance out the engine because they are slanted and the screw is a different size than the other 4. its a little tricky to find but its there and the second bolt is directly above by the starter solenoid. the other 2 bolts are side to side on top then the last is on the bottom by the motor mount
