Car will turn over but not start why?

Asked by liltigercubs Jan 01, 2015 at 12:28 PM about the 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The timing belt was replaced about a year ago, just replaced plugs, ignition coil pack, crank sensor and the ECM thinking these could be the problem but car still wont start, what else could be the problem?

Does it have spark? Does it have fuel pressure at the fuel rail? If yes to both then I advise to Do a compression check on all cylinders. Your psi should be somewhere between 150 psi and 200 psi. Any cylinders having 0 psi will have bent valves.

Cha ged the fuel pump car turns over but still wont ztart pump is working but zeems tobe no lil pressure.. Could a fuse or a zensor be th problem
