my car will turn over but will not start up how do i fix?

I have a 05 Eclipse and we was going down the road and it just died on us....it has plenty of gas...we bought a new fuel pump and replaced it and still will not start...we also used starting fluid and still nothing the fuel filter is clean...I don't know what to check next any help is appreciated!

Crank sensor pickup would do that ... you have no spark or the starting fluid would have at least gave the engine a "Kick"
