yeh you might not of got the engine timed correctly (belt or distributor), over looked a sensor got the wires in the wrong order or even got the head bolts torqued down incorrectly, did you use a torque wrench ? or did you have a shop do the work?

what sensors should i look at and i used a torque rench and tighten as much as possible i went diagnol when tightening the bolts

you tightened as much as possible?? you didn't set the torque wrench to a certain torque spec like 50lbs or whatever the spec is??

no i didnt iguess i didnt use a torque ranch i used just a regular ranch and tightend it as much as possible

well then your going to wanna get the torque sequence and a decent torque wrench and do it to spec,, also could you post a clip of the engine running I'm curious what you mean by "making a weird rattling noise" did you inspect your rods and pistons before you put the new head on? and is it a new head with new valves ?? if its the old head with the same old valves then Im thinking the valves could be bent

one thing don't tell me you did something you didn't do like telling me that you used a torque wrench and then tell me that you didn't,, I'm not trying to be bitching, but if you want accurate advice and info you have to give me accurate information ok

also just thought of something did you 100% make sure that you got the timing correct with the cams ???? and is this the v6 double over head cam engine? or a straight 4 cylinder?

do you still need help ? im more than willing and happy to help I didn't mean to come off so bad that post before last here, but I do need you to be accurate with the info you provide me so I can give you the correct answers
