When I start the car and Press the clutch in the car dies

Asked by tom95gst Jan 14, 2011 at 12:15 AM about the 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T Turbo

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I know that the neutral safety is out because I do not have press the clutch in to start the car, but when I do start the car with it in neutral and press the clutch down to put in into gear the car completely dies on me and just will not let me hold the clutch down to start the car I have to start it without the clutch. It just dies when the clutch is pressed. This all happened after I had my aftermarket CD player put into the car.

PLEASE help me!
