1994 3000GT idle surges

Hi Eric from NW MT. Have a 1994 retiree's toy that I drive about 1500 miles in summers.
At times (frequently) Car starts and idles ok at startup. As engine warms it very often (but
not always) will flucuate between 900 and 1500 Rps repeatedly. Most noticeable when
clutch depressed at a stop? Any solutions? PS nearest Mitsubishi dealer about 4 hours
drive. On my own on Indian Reservation? Help? eric

Might try cleaning your idle air control valve. Also if your car is equipped with an egr valve might try cleaning it also
