CVT Subaru fluid change

Asked by Drbgur Oct 05, 2019 at 06:29 AM about the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek 2.0i Premium AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi, just bought a new Subaru 2019 crosstrek premium.
What is the best course of action to maintain the longevity of the suv and the
CVT? Should the CVT fluid be changed using the severe protocol per the
manufacture...every 24k miles or leave the it alone and change at 100k?
Thank you,

Depends on the type of driving you do. I would typical suggest you go in the middle and change it every 50K, but 25K if you are concerned.

Severe for a Subaru CVT is backing it out of your garage. Change the fluid!
