Engine stalls out

Question type: General

My Outback Touring 3.6 engine stalls out often when I drive at lower speed and
step on the gas to accelerate into traffic.  Without doing anything, the car will
then accelerate after a second or two.  This is dangerous when trying to merge
into traffic.

Could be a CVT or electronic throttle issue. Look up the Pedal Commander.

2019? Get to the dealer for a freebie ASAP. Maybe you can hear a vacuum leak at idle listening under the hood in the meantime?
