Cracked and chips on windshield

Asked by Valerie Jul 24, 2019 at 09:13 PM about the 2019 Subaru Outback 2.5i AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Does anyone know if the lawsuit that Subaru
lost related to windshield issues extends to
the 2019 Outback as well?

which developed into a crack across the
windshield. We’re thinking of reporting this to
the NHTSA and our local highway safety
organization. Additionally, we’ve sent Subaru
a complaint in writing. I recommend that
other owners experiencing this issue do the  I
think this may be evidence that a known
issue (for which they lost a lawsuit last year
2018), was left unresolved. Let’s make sure
they own the problem and recall and replace
these faulty windshields.
