2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid SE

Asked by Fuzzyhippolizardbird... Sep 23, 2019 at 10:59 AM about the 2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid SE FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car had about 30,000 miles
when I moved from Ohio to
Florida. I was getting 41-43 MPG.
As soon as I moved, I noticed my
MPGs drop 10-11 MPG in 3
months. I am now getting 30-31. I
am so frustrated because I
already had the car in for service,
and they say nothing is wrong and
that it's probably my driving. Lol.
It's not my driving..that hasn't
changed. I'm taking it in again this
week in Hope's they will replace
the battery pack since it's under
warranty.  I know I'm probably
dreaming, thinking they will do
this for me.

I have a 2017 that this happened on about 2 months ago driving to florida. I used to get 42-44, now it's 35-36 and it's clear that the EV in not working. I wonder if it's the same problem that the 2010 Hybrids are having with the computer glitch of saying the batter is too old?
