A/C sometimes blows hot

Asked by DmitriM Oct 03, 2019 at 07:48 PM about the 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid SE FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So the problem is sometimes a/c stops to
blow cold air and then in a few or more
minutes it starts to blow cold again. Scanned
with simple OBD2 scanner and get that
P05232-00. With simple refrigerant pressure
gauge it shows 40psi on hybrid battery run
and 55psi on gas engine run. Refrigerant
R1234yf. Any suggestions please?

Easiest thing to suggest is to replace the sensor. But those numbers are low. With the engine running or not. The pressures should be higher. Also the ac compressor on that car is a high voltage compressor that is not in anyway driven by the engine. Check for a leak.

My 2017 is doing the same thing. Could you tell me what the solution was?
