WRENCH WARNING LIGHT
Asked by ClareSheils Oct 01, 2018 at 07:03 PM about the 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid FWD
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
The wrench warning light ONLY comes on when I'm driving in 80+ heat at 70
mph. It stays on until I stop the car. When I get driving again, the warning light
comes back on. When I'm back home in 60 degree weather, this NEVER
happens. What's up?

2018 Ford fusion wrench light coming on and battery is dead
No, the yellow wrench light means a power train malfunction, this can also cause the check engine light to come on because the engine and transmission, and drive train are all connected. So when the yellow wrench light comes on the check engine light is likely to come on also.
I have an 2010 Ford Fusion SE 2.5 my wrench light is on what do that mean
What happen when my Ford Fusion 2013 wrench yellow light come on on my dash and the car start shaking I had to turn the car off then turn on and nothing wrong with the car the yellow light is off . What that mean?
Did you ever find out what was going on Clare?? Mine just did this yesterday!! Exactly what you said! After I stopped it it and turned it off it went away! Doesn't come on when I'm doing regular driving just anything over 70 and it was over 80 degrees yesterday!
has anyone figured out what it means? my car does the same when driving over 75mph and its hot out.
Mine is doing the same thing. I’m going to get the computer error code and hope it gives a better clue. I replaced the throttle body just to see if that worked...That was a big issue with fusions. $53 for an OEM part and 10 minutes to install (8 mm tall socket). Still comes on at 70 mph. I’ll let you know what I find.
