After lifting carpet on passenger side, I still cannot find Inertia Switch. I am a female living alone. What else should I do to actually get to the part? I just need to reset it.

assuming that you looked under the dash right about where the carpet ends? that is a likely spot. also on some models it can be behind the passenger side kick panel. that is the plastic panel to the right of your feet on the passenger side.
